Cory Large, CRTP

Cory supports portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions through in-depth market research, security analysis, and ongoing strategy development. In addition to his investment responsibilities, Cory prepares and files tax returns for individuals and small businesses, integrating tax-aware planning into the broader wealth management process. He is currently working towards obtaining the globally-recognized CFA charter and hopes to pursue the EA tax designation thereafter.

Cory earned his B.S. in Finance from California State University San Marcos and an A.S. in Business Administration from Palomar College. While at CSUSM, he served as Chief Investment Officer of The Cougar Fund, a nationally recognized student-run investment fund managing over $300,000 in assets. During his tenure, he led portfolio strategy and sector allocation decisions, trained analysts in valuation and due-diligence techniques, and helped the team consistently outperform its benchmark.

Driven by a commitment to thoughtful, research-backed decision-making, Cory is passionate about bridging portfolio management, tax strategy, and holistic financial planning to deliver long-term value for clients. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, snowboarding, playing beach volleyball, and spending quality time with friends, family, and his girlfriend.
