Senior Portfolio Strategist
Jon has served in Portfolio Management, Investment Analyst, and Compliance roles over his 25+ year career in the investment management business. He has worked for Registered Investment Advisory firms in Santa Barbara, San Diego, Dallas, Denver and St. Petersburg, FL, and has experience managing accounts in diverse strategies, including individual stocks and bonds, mutual funds, closed-end funds and ETFs. He is also editor of the book The Complete Guide to Closed End Funds: Finding Value in Today’s Stock Market. He currently serves as Senior Portfolio Strategist and as CFO for Anchor Bay.

James R. Allen, CFP, ChFC
Director of Financial Planning
Jim Allen has been providing financial planning advice for over thirty years. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and has earned a master’s degree in Financial Planning with an emphasis in taxation. In addition, he has earned several other professional credentials including Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA). Jim has also taught CFP classes at the University of California Irvine and is co-author of the book, The Tools and Techniques of Charitable Planning. As Director of Financial Planning, Jim’s role will be to support our clients on all aspects of their financial lives.

Danielle Ramirez
Client Relations
Danielle served as an Executive Administrative Assistant for five years in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, CA. She supported the daily operations of the Avionics Logistics Squadron, while managing 300 Marines. Following an Honorable discharge, she completed a Bachelors of Science degree from Platt College in San Diego, in the field of Web Design with a focus in Marketing. During and after college, she worked as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Starre Lines Inc., while also running a Personal Training/Holistic business of her own.

In 2018, Danielle filled the General Manager of Operations role at the Pacific Views Event Center on Camp Pendleton. There, she oversaw the operations of 4 facilities in the Food, Leisure, and Hospitality Services department with Marine Corps Community Services.
